Babs was my mother-in-law from Waldoboro, ME. She had several beautiful, scrupulously kept gardens, filled with flowers of all kinds. Her husband, my father-in-law, kept a huge vegetable garden and raspberry patch in back of the old farmhouse, looking down towards the Medomak River, with Friendship on the other side. About Elizabeth Palmer

Elizabeth Palmer

I've been drawing since I was 5 years old and my parents sponsored art shows for my siblings and I. Growing up, I had no TV so my primary form of entertainment was drawing and painting. In grade school I attended drawing and painting classes at Rochester Museum of Art and in my teens I studied art history and Studio Art at Colby College. In 1990 I became interested in watercolor and oil painting, and began working towards an associates degree at the University of New Hampshire. I've participated in numerous workshops and exhibited in places such as the New England Center, Cafe Brioche, and the Children's Museum of Portsmouth. After moving to Maine in 2016, I...
